Nicola Webb
The words for all military children
Bio

Nicola Webb grew up in a non-military family, but moved several times before the age of 5 and then once she graduated from university moved every few years. These frequent moves gave her some understanding of frequent moves and learning to adapt to new environments from a young age.
Her personal experiences inspired her to write stories that speak to the unique challenges military children face. Through her books, she aims to provide comfort, understanding, and a sense of belonging to youngest members of the military family who may feel isolated by the constant changes in their lives.
Reader's voice
As an Army wife, I found this book of rhyming verse the perfect way to help my family understand how their own sacrifices as military children follow in a long line of heroes and heroines who gave so much to secure our freedom. While we can all remember the fallen, they may seem faceless and unknown to us. The poignant photos in ‘We Will Remember Them’ remind us that supporting each soldier is a family, whose love and encouragement are key to the well-being and success of our Forces.
‘Army wife and author’
A unique format to recognize and acknowledge the Fallen. This is a poem of heartfelt personal emotion, to which the accompanying illustrations add a special poignancy. A very touching memorial leading to quiet contemplation.
